Why we use photographs and videos

At Griffithstown AFC, we are proud of our players and teams and occasionally use photographs and videos to celebrate achievements, promote club activities, and keep members informed about club events.

Photographs and videos may be used on:

The club website
Club social media channels
Match reports and newsletters
Club promotional materials
Local media coverage (where appropriate)

We take the safety and privacy of all children seriously. When publishing images of young players, we will:

Use images that portray children positively and appropriately
Avoid including personal information that could identify a child's location or routine
Never publish home addresses, contact details, or other sensitive information
Avoid using full names alongside photographs of children wherever possible
Remove images if consent is withdrawn

Providing consent is entirely voluntary and will not affect your child's participation in club activities.

Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting secretary@griffithstownafc.co.uk or by speaking to the Child Welfare/Safeguarding Officer.

We will remove images from club-controlled platforms as soon as reasonably practicable, although we cannot guarantee removal from third-party publications or content already shared by others.

I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child named above and consent to Griffithstown AFC using photographs and/or videos of my child for the purposes selected in this form. I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time by contacting the Club Welfare Officer.
